Refund & Return Policy

We take pride in offering high-quality academic and professional books in the fields of medicine, engineering, business, and management.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, please review the terms below for returns and refunds.


1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 30 calendar days from the date your order was delivered.

To qualify for a return:

  • Books must be unused, undamaged, and in their original condition.

  • All original packaging must be included.

  • Returns must be approved by our support team before being sent back.

  • Returns made without prior approval may not be accepted or refunded.


2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact contact@bookim.shop with the following details:

  • Your order number

  • A short explanation of the reason for return

  • Photos if the book arrived damaged or incorrect

Once approved, our team will provide you with return instructions and the official return address.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service when sending returns.


3. Return Shipping Costs

  • If your book is defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped, Bookim will cover all return shipping costs.

  • For other reasons (such as ordering the wrong title or changing your mind), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards or vouchers

  • Clearance or final-sale items (unless damaged or incorrect)

  • Items marked as non-returnable at checkout

  • Books that show signs of use, writing, or damage not present upon delivery


5. Exchanges

We accept exchanges for any book within 30 days of delivery, whether the item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or if you simply want a different title.

To request an exchange:

  1. Contact us at contact@bookim.shop with your order number and the book you’d like to exchange.

  2. Our team will provide instructions for sending back the original book and arranging shipment of the replacement.

Exchanges are processed promptly, and Bookim covers return shipping for defective, damaged, or incorrect items. For other exchanges, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.


6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong book, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Include in your email:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the book and packaging

We’ll quickly arrange a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping costs if applicable.


7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after the returned book is received and approved.

  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, additional time may be required for the refund to appear in your account.

  • Refunds may be denied if the item does not meet the return criteria or was not securely packaged.

  • No restocking fees apply.
